Acute pancreatitis (AP) in animals has become a common acute abdomen in general surgery, characterized by acute onset, moderate condition, and high mortality rate. It remains a major challenge in general surgery to this day. Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) has a mortality rate of up to 30% due to long-term complications such as multiple organ failure and severe infection. However, there is currently no clear conclusion on its mechanism, and there is a lack of effective methods to prevent the occurrence and development of pancreatic tissue necrosis. Clinical treatment is also challenging. The method of preparing a rat acute pancreatitis model by injecting sodium taurocholate into the pancreatic bile duct is simple, has high success rate, good reproducibility, and is conducive to exploring the pathogenesis and treatment effect.

Observation indicators

HE staining was used to observe the pathology of pancreatic tissue; ELISA detection of inflammatory factors such as TNF - α, IL-1 β, and IL-6 in serum; Biochemical detection of amylase (AMY) and lipase (LIP) in serum.
